the goodbyes
There’s something very bittersweet yet very powerfully exhilarating about writing the final goodbye letter or making the final goodbye phone call to friends or family before you leave for a grand adventure.
On some level it’s like saying, “This is it, I’ll see you when I get back and I will still love you the same, but I’m about to go change the course of the rest of my life, as well as change myself and the way I see the world around me.”
The next time you speak to that person… oh, the things you will have seen.
yeah that just about sums up the past two days of my life, and what tomorrow will be.
